Net Neutrality

How many of us run businesses that rely on the Internet to bring customers to our websites? What would happen if corporations decided to give themselves an edge by making smaller competitors harder to find or get to on the Internet? It could crush small business.

Apparently, Republicans are OK with that.  Last December, a Republican-led Federal Communications Commission repealed net neutrality protections guaranteed during the Obama administration, despite millions of written objections by consumers.  Repealing these protections allows giant telecoms to charge some consumers more than others for the same service and block or slow down online access.

And it’s not just about business. It’s a threat to our democracy when the free flow of ideas is restricted by corporations.

I stand for a return to net neutrality that treats all online consumers fairly and equitably.

If my vision reflects your vision, won’t you please volunteer for or contribute to our campaign? Working together, our vision can become reality.
