“I am honored to have been the Democratic nominee for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional seat in the 2018 Midterm election.  Thank you for your help, donations, and votes.  I am now humbled by the continued support and increasing calls for me to run again in 2020.

As the Supreme Court has just heard arguments regarding the unconstitutional gerrymandering of North Carolina’s Congressional district map, I will wait to see what ruling is made regarding the re-drawing of our 11th district map before the 2020 election. We should know one way or another by mid June. At that point I will evaluate the situation as I consider what is best for my family, my business, the people of Western North Carolina, and the Nation.

In the mean time, I will continue to travel around the district and talk about why we need Universal Health Care, Tuition Free Higher Education, Stronger Environmental Protections, Higher Wages, and Big Money Out Of Politics.

We must invest our tax dollars into the Middle Class and those who wish to enter it.

It is time to spread a message of LOVE and Inclusion and REJECT Hate and Division.

Thank you all for fighting the fight and may we never give up!”

Sincerely,  Phillip Price 3/27/19
